Today, my fellow students and I were able to attend a lesson regarding the developement of Time Management Plans!
The plan is a seven day tabular grid, the columns representing the days of the week. Each row represents an hour of the day. The range of hours is from 6am until 12 midnight.
I have a few days to develope the plan and submit it for approval.
For each hour that is represented I am to write what I would typically be doing at that time on a normal week.
Once the plan has been completed, I should be able to highlight exactly what times and on which days I would be able to allocate specifically for my study periods.
I shall be keeping a completed copy of the action plan for submission with my final work.

SWOT Analysis
Today I have been developing my personal SWOT analysis!
This task envolkes creating a list of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats with personal regards to myself.
Once I had created the lists of my own attributes and shortfalls, not only on a personal level but with regards to a third party, i.e. an employer, I created a SWOT table.
Within the SWOT table I had refined my list to fine tune exactly what my pros & con's were and entered the data in an appropriate and presentable format.
I have included the SWOT analysis within my coursework, but have not at this time uploaded it due to the manner I am using a publicly available blog to record my progress, I wouldn't want my class mates having relatively comparable work to myself now would I?

Blogging Starts Today!
As part of my BTEC National Diploma in IT for Practitioners Level 3, I am going to compile a blog of my coursework over the remaining year.
My Unit 1 lesson, Communications and Employability Skills, requires that I keep and maintain a record of my progress within the course and track my hurdles along the way.
Along with my blog I intend to use my study timetable and my Personal Learning Plan (PLP) and six weekly reports to show as evidence that I have met the elibable criteria required to achieve a high level of qualification upon completion of the course.
